Glassland slopes between higher Mallee and nitre-bush, frankenia and halosarcia flats. Feather spear grass growing through nitre bush on lower slope where more saline (EC 8.8 dS/m in central slope area), EC 0.12 dS/m (on central slopes). Soil colour is 7.5 YR 5/4. pH 1:5 water.
