Evaluation location: Queensland, Australia
Seedling plants transplanted into 150 cm3 planter pots filled with commercial seed raising medium once radicle emerged. Appropriate Bradyrhizobium strain applied by watering can onto seedlings. Target population of 50 plants per accession. Insects controlled using registered insecticides. Irrigated to supplement rainfall. Seeds harvested by hand-picking or cutting whole plants, threshing and cleaning using a combination of screens and aspiration.
