Comment: Stand more than 25 years old. One pure purple-flowered population integrading with a highly variegated one. Nodule sample. (Plant Inventory Vol. No. 189) The objective was to obtain naturalized germplasm from stands that had survived 25or more years in drought stressed environments. (NOTES)
