Narrative
An erect type of Lucerne bred from Gannong No.5. It's more productive than Gannong No.5, and the yield can be as high as 23 - 26 t DM/ha. Larger plants with a height of over 90 cm. The regrowth rate is high and was measured as 1.52 cm/day. Can be harvested 3 - 5 times per year. Originally sourced from Professor Shangli Shi, Dean of the College of Grassland Science, Gansu Agricultural University (GAU), China.
