Narrative
Prostrate/ascending to 40cm. Red flowers, small leaves. Floodway/roadside crossing of very broad saline flat floodway. Seed collected from 20 plants. Area sampled 100m2. Heavy seed crop. Mid fruiting timing. Locally abundant. Regionally common. Plant soil sample taken. Site soil sample taken. Mostly green pods collected - co-occurring with TP01LC2 (SA 44938) - a white flowering, more robust looking Lotus cruentus. Roadside crossing of very broad saline flat floodway. Site has poor drainage. Watercourse.
