Narrative
Released from heat treatment quarantine on 27/04/01. Originally from INRA France it was requested because it is a parent of recombinant inbred lines, used for gene mapping purposes. This line is a homozygous inbred lines. A17 is from the cultivar Jemalong. The line has different developmental, morphological and symbiotic characteristics. e.g. A17 has a typical adaxial leaf surface spot, and anticlockwise spiny barrels. BMC Plant Biol. 2002;2(1):1. PMID: 11825338 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]. In this paper substitute J6 for A17, since they are identical for practical purposes.
