Locality: Western Australia, Lake Mason Homestead, 1.5km along road off end of Lake Mason Stn airstrip, Halosarcia salt flat, ~2.2km ESE of Lake Mason Hmst (LMAS01).
Parentrock: Alluvium; Soil_Colour: Brown Red; Soil_Depth: Deep; Soil_Texture: Clay Loam; Assoc_Species_Dominant: Halosarcia, Frankenia, Swainsona Halophila And S. Paradoxa.

Narrative

prostrate. Samphire saltflat, low open samphire shrubland broad drainage line. Seed collected from 20 plants. Area sampled 100m2. Moderate seed crop. Late fruiting timing. Locally and regionally uncommon. Plant soil sample taken. Site soil sample taken. Growing on Saline flat among samphires - well eaten down by 'roos. Originally this and LMAS01SSA were both collected as LMAS01SS - subsequently realised that there were two pod types in collection - halophila (A) and paradoxa (B) type. Quite salty area. Watercourse. Site has poor drainage.
