"Probably a hybrid form. Flowers yellow-white", (Collector Note). Somatic chromosome number=32; moderately dark purple with 10% plants yellow-green flower colour (Prosser, WA, USA regeneration 2001.) Pods sickle shaped, <.5 coil, 1-3mm wide (evaluation of original pod samples by S.L. Greene, 2001). Comment: Site specific GIS-derived monthly precipitation and temperature data, plus soil classification data available. ReID in 2004 from subsp. varia.
