originally from Instituto Agronomico per l'Oltremare, Floenco, Italy, 1960. Bokhara clover, a biennial herb, similar to lucerne, with narrow leaves, white flowers. Adapted to temperate climate and neutral to alkaline soils with available lime, plants are fairly tolerant of summer drought, grazing stock may be adversely affected by the coumarin present in the plant
